If you're planning your summer calendar, Capital City Live deserves a spot on it. This exciting concert combines live country music with an incredible cause, making it one of the most meaningful events happening in the Salem area this year.

This year's concert features Jon Pardi, along with The Kruse Brothers, at the L.B. Day Amphitheater at the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center on Friday, July 31, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

More Than a Concert

What makes Capital City Live unique is that every ticket purchased helps support Family Building Blocks, a local Relief Nursery serving children and families throughout Marion and Polk counties.

Family Building Blocks works every day to strengthen families, support parents, and help prevent child abuse through early childhood education, home visiting, parenting support, and other prevention-focused services. Each year, the organization serves more than 1,200 local children and their families, helping create stronger, healthier communities.

As someone who has proudly served on the Family Building Blocks Board of Directors for many years, chaired the Gala of Trees, and watched firsthand how these programs change lives, this organization holds a very special place in my heart. Every event they host helps provide resources that keep children safe and families together.
